In 2020, the average house value was listed as $318,200 with average annual property taxes of $3,821 and monthly property taxes of $318.

The $318 monthly property taxes are allocated as follows: $64 to the Government of Alberta School Requisition, $1 to the Seniors' Housing Levy, and $253 to the City of Grande Prairie municipal net operating budget. This equates to an average of $3,036 in tax dollars contributed from each household to the City budget.

Using this tool, we have divided the $3,036 up to show you where we allocate all of the funds and allow you the opportunity to tell us where you would increase, maintain or decrease funding to each service on your property tax bill.
